Ingredients
2 cups of whole or part skim ricotta
Extra- virgin olive oil, for drizzling
1 store bought pizza dough
2 cloves of finely chopped garlic
Handful of finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
2 cups of shredded mozzarella or provolone, one pouch
10 fresh shredded basil leaves, half cup
Directions
First preheat a pizza stone if you use one along with the oven to 425 degrees F. Then stretch dough to form a pie and transfer to stone or pizza baking tray. After that pierce the dough with the tines of a fork in several places. Then drizzle extra-virgin olive oil around the crust and then mix the ricotta cheese with garlic and parsley and season it with salt and black pepper. After that spread the ricotta across the dough and top the pizza with mozzarella or provolone. Then bake until crispy for about twenty minutes. In the end top the white pizza pie with the shredded basil leaves, cut and serve. Enjoy.
