Brazilian Food Recipes - Black Beans with Bacon

Brazilian response to baked beans!!! This Brazilian food recipes is heavenly when served as a side dish with meat, yet you can likewise make it a main dish dish and hand some rice with it.








Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) package of dry black beans 
2 1/2 quarts of water 
3 tablespoons of olive oil 
3 cloves of peeled and minced garlic
1 large chopped onion
Salt and pepper to taste 
1 diced tomato
1 diced carrot
1/2 pound of diced bacon strips

1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley
 

Directions


Put beans in a weight cooker with enough water to cover, and splash for 12 hours, or overnight.

Include 2 1/2 quarts water to the beans, or enough to fill weight cooker around 2/3 full. Cover, and cook 30 minutes at 10 pounds weight. Expel from warmth, and put aside.

Heat the oil in a medium pot over medium warmth, and saute the garlic and onion until delicate. Mix in the tomato and carrot. Cook around 5 minutes, and blend in the bacon. Cook and mix until bacon is fresh and equally carmelized.

Blend the vegetable and bacon mixture into the weight cooker with the dark beans. Cover, and keep cooking pretty nearly 10 minutes at 10 pounds weight. Trim with parsley, and season with salt and pepper to serve.
